"I have been somewhat fanatical about working out for years now so thought I was in pretty darn good shape BUT my strength and endurance have increased tenfold from working out with Shannon the past 2 years. Last year I snowshoed a favorite route and kept waiting for the somewhat difficult and long incline midway through the hike and when I reached my destination realized I had breezed through that anticipated hill with no effort."

"I love Bootcamp. It may sound scary, but it’s not. Shannon really works us hard, but tailors the workouts to our level of ability and always considers (and remembers) everyone’s physical limitations or injuries. Even though it’s a small group workout, I feel like I’m getting personal training. Recently, my husband (who is a cyclist and is athletic) started doing core exercises on his own so I showed him what we do in Bootcamp. He couldn’t even do most of the exercises. He said, “no wonder you’ve been feeling so strong and fit”. Another plus is that it’s a great group of fun and interesting woman that I work out with and laugh a lot with. It really makes the hour go by so fast."

I am a 52 yr. old female who has been training at InMotion for the past several months. When I first started I was very out of shape although I was active with agility dogs and horses. I trained with a personal trainer last year but could not continue as it was too expensive. InMotion offers affordable group classes that I can take with my friends. The class times are varied so I can pick which times work for my schedule.
I have gotten so much stronger and am able to do more with both exercising and in my agility competitions. Shannon (or other instructors) are able to customise exercises according to ability and work on individual needs so you can get a good workout. The fact that they can do this in a group situation always has amazed me. One class I attend has both people younger and a couple much older people. I have seen people with certain physical limitations have the workouts adjusted so they can continue to work out to the best of their abilities right along with the rest of us. We all get the work out we need.
They group sessions are varied in exercises each week so it is never boring. We never know what we might be doing. It is the first time I have ever said exercising is FUN! I look forward to continuing with the classes and know I will get stronger and more flexible as time goes on. I would hope everyone can give InMotion a try. It is a great place to get in shape and the instructors are all wonderful and very knowledgeable.

I am a 78 year old guy, and have been working out with Shannon at In Motion for about 7-months. Those of us with gray hairs know that as we get older things change. Sometimes balance is a problem, our mobility and agility decrease, and our strength does too. Consistent workouts with Shannon can help improve all of these things.
For most of my life I have been an active person, and I would like to keep it that way for as long as possible. Rather than sit around in a sofa or rocker, life is much more enjoyable when you can get out and do a few things. I enjoy working with my dog in obedience and agility, hiking to do a little hunting and fishing, and to pursue my hobby of photography. To do these things I need to stay in reasonably good physical condition, and I intend to do that by working with Shannon at her In Motion studio.
I have not had any huge weight loss by working out, but I have lost some flab, and added some muscle. This has made it easier for me to stay involved with the things I like to do. Old injuries sometimes hinder the way we want to exercise. However, Shannon is great at figuring a way around the problem so we can accomplish our overall objective. Working out with others is a great way to enjoy some time with friends, and meet some new ones. If I can do this anyone can and get the results they desire in a safe but fun atmosphere!
